Day Seven

Today started with a big rush to get everyone fed, dressed, and out the door to church. Miracle of miracles, we got to church on time! Really, we wanted to make sure we didn't miss a minute of child care. :) The kids all did fine in their nursery/Sunday school classes.

After church, we dropped Suzy and Andy off at their house with Kaitlyn for naps and a little down time. We picked them up again this afternoon and came back to our house, where the girls took a long bath and the boys got in some playtime with Daryl.

Then it was time for dinner. Thank you Ashley for a wonderful meatloaf dinner! We all enjoyed it... even Suzy (both bites)! We all especially liked the special sauce (except for Suzy, she asked for no sauce). We closed out the evening with the girls on the back porch with jelly beans and stories. It was a nice relaxing evening, our best yet, I think.

I didn't get many pictures today. I really wanted to get one with all four kids dressed up and ready for church, but that was a little too much to hope for. Here's a shot of Daryl entertaining the boys.
