Day Eight

I didn't get any pictures of day eight, but it was a good day all around. We seemed to hit our stride, and the girls got along quite well. Andy spent a good chunk of the day at Baby Ethan's for a play date (thanks Cynthia!). Ethan's mommy said Andy had a good time, but Ethan didn't really appreciate sharing his mommy. Ah well.

The rest of our pack headed over to a neighborhood pool that we hadn't tried yet. The girls seemed to enjoy it. Brynna even announced, as we were leaving, that we should always go to that pool from now. After swimming we came back to the house for lunches and naps.

After nap we picked Andy up and headed over to the Smiths' for some play time. Kaitlyn even took the girls over to her house to meet her kitties.

We rounded out our last night together back at Casa del Tripp with burgers and stories.

Mom and Dad get back late tonight (day 9), and we plan to put Suzy and Andy down in their own beds at home, so Marti and Rob can just come straight home.

After that what am I going to do? Daryl is taking tomorrow off to take care of Brynna and Lane. I am also taking the day off. Maybe I'll go to the pool and just take a magazine instead of a van load of lotion, hats, floaties, diapers, towels, snacks, swim shoes, water toys, and kids.
