It's my understanding that Santa does things differently for different families. For our family, he doesn't wrap the gifts and treasures he brings. He lays them out and sets them up just so, waiting to be discovered Christmas morning.
This is how things looked this Christmas.
Leopard actually lives at Grandmomma and Grandpa's house. Santa must have liked him, because he let Leopard model Brynna's fairy wings and skirt and sat him Lane's new little folding chair. The grown-ups all thought this was really funny, but the humor was a little lost on Brynna and Lane.
Last year we started a tradition of opening our stockings in Momma and Daddy's bed. This is a favorite new tradition of mine. It brings us all together to start the fun and sets a sweet cozy feel for the morning. Santa helps out by leaving the stockings by our doors. Brynna was impressed that he knew that both she and Lane were in the same room and left both of their stockings by the correct door. He's such a smart old elf!

For weeks if you asked Brynna what she wanted for Christmas, she would tell you she wanted a yo-yo. That was it. That's all she told Santa when she talked with him as well. He came through of course, and she found her very own yo-yo tucked in her stocking first thing Christmas morning.
I have a super cute video of the kids entering the living room to see their Santa gifts for the first time, but it's too big, so I have to work on compacting it. Hopefully I'll be able to post it soon too.
