Lane at 4 Months

Our little guy is four months old! He had his well check with Dr. Booker today. He got another oral vaccine and three shots in the thighs. He didn't seem to enjoy the shots anymore than the last time, but I don't think he turned quite as purple. Poor little guy. :(

Here are his latest stats:
Length-25 and 1/3 inches 50th%-75th%
Weight-16#3oz 75th%-90th%
Head Circumference-42cm 50th%

He's still a big guy, but his length is catching up with his weight a bit.

Just in the last week or so he's started grasping and even reaching for toys and the bringing them to his mouth. He's not rolling over yet, but he'll go from his back to his side, and he seems to be able to scooch around when we're not watching. He's a pretty smiley kid, and he babbles a lot. Sleeping has gotten ever so much better in the last two weeks or so. Up until now he has not been a great sleeper, preferring to hang out with his mommy in the middle of the night.

He doesn't seem like a new born at all anymore. Everyday he seems more alert and interactive. We're excited about his first Christmas and ours as a family of four. Lane says all he wants for Christmas is milk.
