A Tripp to the Zoo

The last time we visited Grandmomma and Grandpa we all went to the zoo. Brynna got to see and do a whole bunch of "firsts," like her first carousel ride, first rooster, first bunny. You get the idea. Here are a few of those firsts.

This is her first carousel ride. She wasn't very excited by it. She sat on her animal for a couple of rotations, but then just wanted me to hold her.

Her first close encounter with real chickens and roosters. She was really interested in them, but still pretty cautious.

Her first live goat encounter. She didn't want to pet the goats at all, but they had brushes the kids could use instead, and she really liked that. Very deliberately she went around to all the goats and gave each one a single gentle brush stroke. They all looked very well groomed when she was done.

I think this is my favorite picture from the day. I'm not sure, but I think they were pointing out a bird for her to see.
