Dumay Tripp

Daryl's grandfather, Dumay Tripp, passed away this Monday around 4:30 in the morning. He was 93 years old, in failing health, and very much looking forward to going Home. Daryl's dad, Barry, is the middle son of Dumay and his surviving wife of 64 years, Midge. Daryl and I will travel with Brynna to North Carolina this weekend for the funeral. As providence would have it, the annual Tripp family reunion was already scheduled to take place in Raleigh, NC this Saturday. Dumay's services will be held Sunday near the old Tripp family homestead in Core Point, NC. He will be buried in the family cemetery, also in Core Point. Family members remember Dumay as an ingenious problem solver, a hard worker, a lover of music and family, and a faithful follower of Christ.
