Dinner in Big D

Last weekend we made the trip up to Dallas for my Aunt's 31st anniversary of her 29th birthday. Friday night we had dinner with my friend Teresa and her super cute family. It hadn't occurred to me until a day or two before that Friday was also Teresa'a birthday, her actual 29th in fact. I felt bad hijacking her birthday, but it was so nice to spend a little time with them. Thanks for sharing your birthday with us, Teresa!

Her baby Kate is 5 months old and in Brynna's words, "just as cute as she can be." Brynna absolutely loved Baby Kate.

Teresa was a good sport and let her hold Kate probably way more than any new mommy would want.

Lane was mostly interested in Kate's exersaucer.

Though he did give her a little hug.

I gave Teresa a sling tutorial while we waited for our table at the restaurant.

Lane showed Kate his new favorite sling trick.
