As soon as it started, Daryl and I gathered our pic-nick blankets and laid them out in the yard to catch the snow. That way your snow stays nice and clean, and you don't have dirty grassy snow people.
Laying out the blankets.
Lane checking out our snow people. He wasn't so sure he liked the whole snow thing, and didn't get too near the snow people at first. He kept pointing to the weights we used to hold the blankets down and saying, "Daddy! Daddy!"
Brynna of course loved the snow people.
Of course snow people don't hang around long in Texas. This is how they looked after nap time the next day.
So sad about her snowy friends.
Once it was clear the snow friends weren't going to make it to Summer time, their snow guts became fair game for snowballs and various snow play.
